Robin Benedict-Patio Party

Come down to the Humpy's back patio on Thursday, July 25th from 6pm-9pm for one of our Patio Parties of the summer! We welcome East Coast performer Robin Benedict! She will be blessing us with her wonderful talent and serenade you during your dinner time!

Robin Benedict has been playing music independently throughout Southern Ontario and the United States since her first EP, Ride of my Life, released in 2012.

A video of Robin singing Blondie’s ‘Heart of Glass’ went viral throughout Facebook in 2014, reaching 5 million people and introducing her to an instant worldwide fan base. Dedicated fan interaction through social media during this crucial time afforded her a successful crowd funding campaign, allowing her to record a second EP of 6 songs, Dance Away the Darkness. She then took to the road with fellow singer/song-writer, Brennagh Burns, hit the road on a tour throughout the US comically titled ‘The Folk the Cold Tour 2017’. The grass roots tour from Cape Cod to Alaska allowed her to meet her new fans in person, playing house concerts for those who had reached out to her since hearing her powerful and charismatic voice, and thanking them for making the tour and EP possible.

She is a full time musician based in Hamilton, playing solo to pay the bills, mean while gaining experience and exposure working for companies like Classic Albums Live based out of Toronto. She is best known for her Janis Joplin covers, and performed as part of the Classic Albums Live series in California and Florida.

Recently she has developed a Janis Joplin Tribute Show stacked with some of Ontario's most renowned players.

Robin Benedict prides herself in her ability to share a positive attitude on life through her original songs, which speak of soul-searching and new beginnings. Music is the air Robin breathes. Her voice can both jolt like a firecracker and lull a baby to sleep. She has an obvious versatility that allows her to move you while singing any genre. When she opens her mouth to sing, she means it every time.

Robin continues to write and plans to record her next full record LIVE off the floor in early 2020. Join her Mailing List to stay in the loop about her next release @
